Sentinel Insight — full-system visibility from a panel that fits in your helm.
There's a gap between what a conventional switch panel does and what a helm operator actually needs to know. A switch tells you on or off. It can't tell you that circuit 3 is pulling 12 amps when it should be pulling 8. It can't tell you the voltage dropped while running at anchor. And when something fails at night, it can't tell you which circuit went down or why.
Our development team heard this consistently from operators across the world — offshore crews, commercial fleets, recreational boaters, marine installers — and recognized it not as a feature request, but as a structural limitation of the category. The Sentinel Insight was developed to address that limitation directly: through extensive field research, environmental testing, and engineering iteration across global marine conditions, we built a panel that gives operators the real-time visibility they've always needed, without adding complexity or equipment to the helm.
Eight sealed touch channels — and a display that explains everything
The Sentinel Insight's control surface is fully sealed to IP67: no mechanical switches, no seams, no openings for saltwater or condensation to enter. Eight capacitive touch channels read input through an unbroken panel face. Anti-false-triggering logic verifies every input before the circuit responds, filtering out water droplets so activations are always intentional.
Beside the touch array sits a 1.2" × 1.6" color display. It shows live readings simultaneously across all channels: real-time current draw per circuit, system voltage, PCB temperature, and fault icons the moment something needs attention. This isn't a status light — it's instrumentation that was missing from this category entirely.
The display orientation is adjustable in software: 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees to fit any installation angle without physical repositioning.
Intelligent protection with full fault visibility
The Sentinel Insight's smart MCU manages each channel independently. Per-channel overcurrent protection isolates only the faulted circuit — the other seven keep running. The display shows an overcurrent icon for that specific channel so you know immediately what happened and where. System-wide overvoltage and overtemperature protection cuts all channels when conditions exceed thresholds, then auto-recovers once conditions normalize — no manual restart required.
All protection thresholds and per-channel current limits are configurable through the on-panel settings menu using the touch buttons themselves. No tools, no programmer, no external device.
Settings that persist
Onboard memory saves your complete configuration — current limits, switch modes, display rotation, protection thresholds — and restores it automatically on every power-up. One-time setup. Factory reset is available from the menu if you ever need to start over.
Configurable per circuit
Each of the eight channels can be individually set to latching (ON/OFF) or momentary mode. Channel 4 defaults to momentary at 15A — ready for a horn or other momentary device out of the box. All other channels and modes are fully adjustable. Thirty function stickers let you label each switch to match your vessel's electrical layout.
